Angus Growers Ltd is a soft fruit producer organisation based in Arbroath on the East Coast of Scotland, in the heart of the traditional Scottish berry growing area. The Company is owned and managed by 19 growers, the majority in Angus, Perthshire and Fife, who grow a variety of fruits and other crops; we market their strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and cherries. Welcome to the British Summer Fruits website. Soft fruits are nutritious, tasty and versatile. Available all year round, they are an ideal healthy snack for consumers of all ages. Our aim is to promote the consumption of berries grown both in the UK and abroad, collaborating with exporters during winter and spring and working closely with UK growers during the summer months.

We have been farming grain and potatoes at Myreton of Claverhouse since 1970. In 2002, we erected a small number of tunnels and started to grow strawberries. There were only a few students on the farm in the first year, but we have come a long way since then. We now have more then hundred polythene tunnels, where we grow berries on the ground and on table tops. We employ up to seventy workers during the season. We are part of Angus Growers Ltd.
